We documented some activity in the area during the night. At midnight we spotted two trawlers at the southwest corner of the ZTA, just outside the buffer zone. They went up north, following the ZTA north line but staying out. Around 1:30 another trawler appeared and crossed to San Felipe through the middle of the ZTA, and after that other two trawlers came from the north heading towards San Felipe as well, but crossed through the buffer zone.

Before the first lights there were already about 7 dive pangas in the center of the ZTA, and their numbers increased to a maximum of 37 at 11:00.

At 14:00 we spotted two trawlers in the buffer zone heading to San Felipe; one of them was still around at 15:00. After 17:00 the sea state started to increase, and the ZTA was empty.
