The weather improved greatly compared to yesterday, today the sea was calm. Only three dive pangas were seen, which stayed in the center of the ZTA from 6:30 until 14:00. There was more fishing activity outside of the ZTA; between 6:00 and 8:00 more than 16 pangas crossed to the northeast section, many of them with flags to mark the nets on board. We could see also a lot of panga activity to the south, in front of San Felipe. At 13:00 we spotted a panga that stopped right next to one of the south marker buoys of the ZTA, and they seemed to start setting a net because a marker float with a flag was in the water. But a Navy vessel Defender was in the area and approached to the area fast, which made the panga collect what they had set and move quickly heading to San Felipe.
