Around 06:30 a large number of Small fishing boats started to arrive at the ZTA,  we sent the drone to confirm they were diving boats.

An hour later, 4 Small fishing boats went to the center of the ZTA and started to throw nets.

We contacted the Navy, and by 8 am another 4 Small fishing boats arrived to start helping with the nets. We confirmed the name of some of the boats, which in the past few days had been warned by the navy for fishing inside the ZTA.

At 08:13, a navy speedboat was sent to the area given, the Navy arrived at the area and started to approach the fishing boats, which were still pulling their net with the navy in the area.

A defender from the navy also arrived at the area with inspectors, they approached the Small fishing boats as well, but the fisherman didn’t stop from retrieving the net, the two Small fishing boats loaded with fish left on their way to San Felipe.

Around 11:40 more Small fishing boats went inside the ZTA. They began to fish in the North Central area. Some Small fishing boats with registration from Golfo de Santa Clara also arrived and started fishing inside the ZTA.

We reported the activity to the Navy. The defender arrived again at the area as the Small fishing boats started to leave full of fish in the direction of San Felipe. The boats crossed the Navy’s path and kept going. The defender then went back to San Felipe as well, and the boats finished fishing and leaving the area around 15:20. Divers remained in the area until 17:00 hours.
