Total number of different small fishing boats fishing today in the ZTA Buffer Zone: 28.

At 10:18, a red, blue, and black flag was found inside the ZTA. There were also 4 small boats fishing inside the ZTA. The Navy was contacted and the interceptor arrived in the area. The interceptor retrieved the unattended nets while the 3 small boats pulled their nets out of the water. By 12:06, the navy had finished pulling in the nets and the small boats had left the ZTA.

Around 16:00 another small boat was detected fishing inside the ZTA, they had 2 nets in the water with flags of different colors. The MV Seahorse reported to the Navy, 2 interceptors arrived in the area and started to talk with the boats and remove the illegal nets from the water.

Shortly after, another boat arrived in the area and approached aggressively the navy interceptors who were already pulling nets from the water. The 2 boats started pulling another net without floats and left the area in a direction to the north.

The Navy finished pulling the net and left the area.
