Yesterday evening we went southeast of the ZTA to drift during the night, as the hydrophone devices for the vaquita population study are set through all the ZTA. The weather forecast for the day was not good for Vaquita Survey conditions. In the morning we headed to the ZTA and arrived shortly before 10:00. The sea conditions were a bit rougher than yesterday and there was little to no activity during the morning and early afternoon. Around 13:00, due to the inclement weather, the only diver seen inside the ZTA began to head back to San Felipe. During 14:00 to 18:00, no small boat activity was seen in the area. Late evening, the only small boat activity that was seen in the ZTA was a crossing of a small boat southwest towards San Felipe.
