Vaquita survey resumed today at 5:30. During the morning there was little small boat activity in the ZTA apart from some boats crossing. Around 12:00 the survey finished for the day.

At 18:00 we detected two small boats stationary inside the ZTA and moments after we confirmed they were pulling nets. We contacted the Navy and they responded affirmatively, but less than 20 minutes later the two small boats finished retrieving their gear and left the ZTA quickly, heading towards the northeast. We informed the Navy and made sure there was no fishing gear left in the area. Some other small boats were seen heading northeast during the evening.
