Several small boats were seen during the night in the southwest area outside of the ZTA. From 1:00 to 5:00 one small boat was drifting in the west corner of the buffer zone, and shortly after 5:00 they entered the ZTA. At 5:30 we saw how they were retrieving a net and we contacted the Navy, but they finished at 6:00 and left to shore. The Navy intercepted them on the beach after they hauled the small boat out of the water.

There was no activity for the rest of the day; the Navy patrolled the ZTA until after 12:00, and then intermittently until 16:00. At night there was small boat activity in the Vaquita Refuge southwest of the ZTA.
