The same two small boats from the last hours of the 15th were fishing in the northwest area outside the ZTA at midnight. From 7:00 to shortly after 11:00, a group of 10 small boats in collaboration with CONANP were looking for ghost nets along the northwest line of the buffer zone; during those hours they went all up and down following the buffer zone line.

Before 11:30 we saw a float or buoy in the water and we contacted the Navy to retrieve it in case there was a net, but it turned out to be just a buoy with a piece of rope attached.

At night, some small fishing boats were seen stationary in the southwest outside the ZTA, and the Navy interceptor went to check on their activities.
