Diver boats started to gather in the center of the ZTA after 7:00; they all left before 16:00. During the morning about 15 small boats crossed the ZTA heading northeast – east.
At 11:30 we started an operation with the Navy to retrieve a net stuck in a concrete block. Some of our crew went with an Interceptor together with two federal fisheries inspectors. After two hours trying to hook the net, we managed to catch it. It was a chano (small corvina) net and we retrieved it in two pieces; the estimated length was 250 to 300 m. We released all the animals back to the sea (Table 2) and the Navy took the net to recycle.
There was no more small boat activity after the operation apart from a few ones crossing back to San Felipe.
