Shortly after midnight we spotted 3 small boats in the SE corner of the ZTA Extension and launched the drone. One of them was retrieving a net while the other two had nets on board but were not deploying them. The Navy was contacted and at 0:20 those two small boats left the area. At 1:00 we got a response from the Navy and around 1:40 we launched the drone to check on another small boat in the central part of the Extension, which was also retrieving nets. The Interceptor arrived at this second small boat at 2:00 and then left the area about 30 min later; the small boat stayed in the same spot until 3:00 while the small boat in the SE corner was not inspected.
Divers started to arrive at the center of the ZTA before 7:00; there was a maximum of 8 and they were inspected by a Navy ship Interceptor around 10:15. All the divers were gone shortly after 15:00.
At 11:10 a small boat in the Extension close to the line of the ZTA was seen hook and line fishing, which was reported to the Navy (the Interceptor approached them at the time of discovery but left 5 minutes later).
At 18:56, three small boats in the SE area of the ZTA Extension were observed. The Navy was contacted at 19:23 and the drone was launched. One of the small boats had shrimp nets and were confirmed fishing. Only one small boat was able to be confirmed with the drone to have nets because the fishermen had a drone jammer. The Navy vessel Interceptor arrived at the area at 20:53 and checked on several small boats; the first one headed south and exited the ZTA extension. The small boat with the drone jammer could not be found; it had been lost during the crossing of two small boats, a trawler, and the Navy. The Interceptor then headed to check on the remaining small boats at 21:52 and during that process the second small boat remaining left the area at 21:55. Ten minutes later the Navy finished checking on the last small boat.
