During the night there was small boat activity in the Vaquita Refuge outside of the ZTA to the south-southwest. Diver boats started to arrive at the center of the ZTA at 7:00 and by 9:00 there were 8 of them.
At 5:55 we spotted a small boat in the south line of the ZTA Extension, in the center part. We sent the drone and confirmed they were retrieving a shrimp net. They finished retrieving their net and left towards San Felipe at 7:15. The Navy, who we contacted when we saw the small boat, said that they were going to inspect them upon arrival to the port.
At 11:00 we started an operation with the Navy vessel Interceptor to retrieve a ghost net. We managed to hook it an hour later, but the line snapped under the tension.
Shortly before 13:00 we saw a small boat in the southeast area of the ZTA Extension who was confirmed shrimp net fishing. The Navy was contacted but the small boat left 20 minutes later.
At 15:10 a small boat was observed inside the ZTA. The drone was launched and it was confirmed that they were retrieving nets. The Navy was informed, and an hour and a half later the drone was launched a second time to see that they were still pulling in a net. The Navy was contacted again but the small boat left the ZTA by 17:26 without seeing any Navy vessel in the area.
All remaining divers left by 18:00 and little to no small boat activity was observed for the rest of the remaining hours.
