During the early hours of the day there wasn’t any activity in the area. At 7:00 some small boats started to appear, and at 9:00 we spotted a target in the ZTA. We flew the drone and saw a small boat with no identification sitting with a net in the boat. An hour later they set the net in the ZTA Extension. We contacted the Navy and a vessel Interceptor arrived one hour later; they waited for the fishermen to retrieve their net and they went alongside for 10 minutes. One of the two fishermen went on board the Interceptor and the other one followed the Navy vessel back to San Felipe in the small boat.
There was little activity during the afternoon-evening hours.
