Sea Shepherd’s Eastern Tropical Pacific IUU Patrolling Campaign

Mamacocha is Sea Shepherd’s campaign addressing Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated (IUU) fishing in the Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Corridor covering nearly two million square kilometers (770,000 square miles) of ocean. The corridor encompasses the waters, coasts and islands off the shores of Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It includes the Galápagos Islands and Marine Reserve, Cocos Island, Malpelo Island, and Coiba National Park, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
