Your Shoreline. Your Mission.
This World Oceans Day, Sea Shepherd is taking action on land to support the fight at sea.
In cities like San Diego, Boston, Toronto, Portland and New York, chapters are leading beach cleanups to remove the same threats Sea Shepherd crews confront on the water — fishing lines, ghost gear, and plastic debris that entangle, choke, and kill marine life.
Every beach cleanup is part of Sea Shepherd’s broader mission to defend the ocean — and every volunteer is part of that fight.

Want to Lead a Cleanup in Your Area?
Sea Shepherd cleanups don’t require massive crowds or big budgets — just committed people. We’ll help you get started, stay aligned with the mission, and connect with others in your region.
If there’s not a cleanup near you, help us build one. Sea Shepherd is looking for local leaders ready to take real action — not symbolic gestures.
