LISTEN TO THE CONCERT
On a beautiful sunny day, 141 passionate Sea Shepherd supporters gathered at the breathtaking Stone Circle in South Woodstock, Vermont. Seated in a relaxed circle surrounded by nature, the crowd experienced an intimate and moving performance by seven-time Grammy® winner Paul Winter. His music, woven with the haunting sounds of whales recorded by the late Roger Payne, created an emotional connection between the audience and the ocean, leaving everyone deeply moved.
The day was more than just about music. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase exclusive Sea Shepherd merchandise, including a limited-edition t-shirt, knowing their support went directly to protecting marine life. The atmosphere was full of camaraderie, with everyone committed to Sea Shepherd’s vital conservation mission.
To those who couldn’t join us, you truly missed out on something special. But it’s not too late to make a difference—consider supporting Sea Shepherd by making a donation, signing up for our newsletter to stay connected, or grabbing the limited-edition t-shirt from our store before it’s gone. Every contribution helps us continue defending the ocean’s most vulnerable creatures.
“My inspiration for this event has been twofold. First, this Stone Circle is one of the most iconic outdoor concert sites I’ve ever seen. I’ve long been enthusiastic about playing music in remarkable places in nature. Secondly, I want to pay tribute to my long-time friend and mentor, Roger Payne, who lived on this mountain near the Stone Circle.
In one of Roger’s last interviews, he said ‘It’s up to the artists, because artists can express emotions, and emotions are what get people to act. It’s how we get people to fall in love with whales, to fall in love with nature, and fall in love with the whole world.”
