What Signing Means

A Public Commitment to the Southern Ocean

Industrial fleets extract Antarctic krill at scale to supply supplements and feed, competing directly with the whales, penguins, and seals that depend on it. By signing the Antarctic Krill Pledge, your company makes three commitments:

01
End current krill sales. Remove all krill-derived products from your inventory to the best of your ability.
02
Do not reintroduce. Commit to keeping krill products out in the future.
03
Make it public. Acknowledge the commitment publicly so customers know where you stand.
The Landscape

The Scale of the Industry

Krill is pulled from the Southern Ocean by the hundreds of thousands of tonnes each year, processed into oil and meal, and sold into supplement aisles and feed supply chains around the world. Thousands of retailers and producers still carry these products. A growing coalition has chosen to stop, and is keeping krill off its shelves for good.
