WHY THE PNW NEEDS SEA SHEPHERD
The Pacific Northwest is home to some of the planet’s most vital and vulnerable marine habitats. But threats like vessel noise, plastic pollution, illegal fishing, and declining salmon runs put them all at risk. Our Land Crew takes direct action to protect:
- Endangered Southern Resident orcas
- Critical salmon habitats and spawning routes
- Coastal waters from illegal and unregulated fishing
- Marine ecosystems impacted by pollution and climate change
This is our backyard. Our oceans. And they’re worth fighting for.
