On June 8, Sea Shepherd volunteers will gather at Coney Island to remove harmful plastics and debris before they can reach the ocean. Join us for a World Oceans Day cleanup in your community. Trash on this beach doesn’t stay put—it washes out to sea, where it poses a deadly risk to whales, dolphins, and marine life along the Atlantic Coast. Sea Shepherd crews are on the water every day—patrolling protected areas, cutting animals free from nets, and confronting illegal fishing.
This is your chance to stand with them from the shore.

Sea Shepherd cleanups don’t require massive crowds or big budgets — just committed people. We’ll help you get started, stay aligned with the mission, and connect with others in your region.
If there’s not a cleanup near you, help us build one. Sea Shepherd is looking for local leaders ready to take real action — not symbolic gestures.
