A note from the director
This is a difficult film. It’s meant to be. I didn’t make it to shock; I made it because I believe most people have never actually seen what happens during the whale hunts in the Faroe Islands, and that seeing it is the first step toward its ending.
My hope for Blood & Beyond is simple: that it finds its way to as many people as possible, and that it becomes part of the effort, however small, to bring these cruel hunts to an end.
