During the early hours of the day there were still small boats in the north and northwest area of the Vaquita Refuge outside the ZTA, which slowly left back to shore as the morning arrived.
There was no activity seen in the ZTA and surrounding areas in the day, apart from few small boats crossing to the northeast or crossing back to San Felipe. One small boat stayed fishing in the Extension for about 3 hours in the afternoon and evening.
During the evening, up to 35 small boats were in the north and northwest of the Vaquita Refuge area outside of the ZTA. The Navy patrolled during the night, inspecting the small fishing boats inside and outside of the Vaquita Refuge.
