For nearly 50 years, Sea Shepherd has fought to protect marine wildlife and defend the ecosystems we all depend upon.
Since 1977, our crews and volunteers have seen wildlife pushed toward extinction, fragile ecosystems exploited, and illegal fishing devastate the ocean. We have also seen what happens when people refuse to stand by. Nets are removed. Animals are rescued. Habitats are protected.
None of it happens without people who believe the oceans are worth fighting for.
