Total number of different pangas fishing today in the ZTA: 2.

Total number of different pangas fishing today in the ZTA Buffer Zone: 5.

Today we started observing fishing activity inside the ZTA and in the Buffer zone around 13:00 being that hour the one with more activity in the ZTA and the buffer zone. Around 13:17 we got close enough to the pangas to spot them with the binoculars and confirm they were fishing, immediately we contacted the navy, some minutes after they send a unit from the Buque Escobedo that was anchored outside the ZTA, around 13:40 the unit arrived to talk with the first panga (the other panga in the area was pulling a net out of the water), the panga left the area, after they went towards the 2nd panga around 13:50 they started to talk with the second panga, the panga left right after, they already had the net back. 15 minutes after an interceptor arrived to the area and patrolled around.
